Registered Nurse (RN) - MS/Tele

Job Description

An opportunity is available for a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry care. This role will involve working night shifts on a schedule of three 12-hour shifts, from 7 PM to 7 AM.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients on the MS/Tele unit.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Educate patients and their families regarding care plans and health management.

Qualifications

  • MUST have at least 12 months of permanent experience in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing.
  • MUST possess a valid Ohio nursing license or a compact license in hand.
  • AHA BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
  • NIHHS certification is preferred.
  • One current reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty is required for submission.

Work Environment

The position is in a fast-paced unit that requires teamwork, communication, and a commitment to patient care. Candidates should be prepared to engage with both patients and their families to promote care and recovery.
