Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in our Med/Surg Tele unit. The RN will be responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care to patients requiring telemetry monitoring and surgical recovery.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and assess patient conditions, interpreting telemetry readings effectively.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement patient care plans.
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans and health maintenance.
  • Document patient progress and any changes in health status accurately.

Shift Details

This position requires working three 12-hour night shifts, from 7 PM to 7:30 AM.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience.
  • Current Ohio nursing license or a compact state license in hand.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.
