Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg Tele RN for a hospital position requiring an active Ohio or compact RN license and BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.

Details

• Med/Surg Tele unit at a hospital main campus
• Potential to float to units J1-2, J33 and ED to care for the same patient population
• Rotating day/night shifts (3x12 hours), 7:00pm-7:30am or 7:00am-7:30pm
• Shifts may vary based on operational needs of the hospital
• 18-week assignment with 13-week option also accepted
• Every other holiday coverage required

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license or compact license in hand required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required (AHA or American Red Cross)
• Minimum 1 year of combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele specialty required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required (co-worker references not accepted)
• Reference must be from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
• No open background check cases accepted
• No hits on professional license accepted

Additional Information

• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment completed during orientation, with a passing score required
• PBDS assessment is waived for this position
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, with medical or religious exemptions only
• Locals accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent or per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
• First-time travelers are not considered for this position
