Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Palliative Care / Medical-Surgical – Ohio
Start Date: October 19, 2026
Location: Columbus, Ohio

Schedule: 12-hour shifts (Days/Nights or Nights only available); rotating schedules reviewed every 4-week scheduling period; weekend coverage as needed per unit requirements

- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, pharmacy, respiratory services, physical therapy, social services, and rapid response teams
- 72-hour orientation provided

Requirements:
- Current, active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience (must be current and consistent within the last 12 months)
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Epic charting system experience required
- Previous travel experience preferred
- Experience with pharmacologic/non-pharmacologic pain interventions and equianalgesic dosing of opioids
- Skills required: IV start and management, phlebotomy, peripheral line care, oxygen administration, isolation precautions/PPE, dysrhythmia interpretation and management
- Must be willing to float to units of equivalent or lower acuity
- Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
- Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
- Two professional references required (at least one from a manager/director or formal leadership role)

Compliance deadline is the Tuesday prior to start date with no exceptions. Former employees must have been away from the facility for 6 months or more to be eligible.
