Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (Medical Surgical/Telemetry) – Ohio
Start Date: October 19, 2026

Schedule: 12-hour rotating day/night shifts; shift assignments reviewed every 4-week scheduling period based on departmental needs; patient ratio 1:5
Highlights:
- Mixed acuity unit caring for both Progressive Care (PCU) and Medical Surgical patients
- Oncology focus with patient diagnoses including head and neck cancers, neuro-oncology, and brain tumors
- Oncology experience preferred but not required
- Epic EMR system in use facility-wide
- 72-hour comprehensive orientation provided
- Interdisciplinary support including Pharmacy, Respiratory Services, Physical Therapy, Rapid Response Teams, and more
Requirements:
- Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience required; must be current and consistent within the last 12 months in the specialty
- Epic charting system experience required
- BLS certification required; ACLS, NIHSS, and OCN certifications preferred
- Skills: IV starts, telemetry monitoring, tracheostomy care and management (including suctioning and inner cannula changes), drain management (JP, Hemovacs), BiPAP/CPAP management, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, chemotherapy administration preferred
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- Willingness to float to other units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed
- Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
- Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
- Two professional references required: at least one from a manager, director, or formal supervisor; Charge RN acceptable for second reference
