TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Columbus, Ohio, 43210!

Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (Medical Surgical/Telemetry) – Ohio

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour rotating day/night shifts; shift assignments reviewed every 4-week scheduling period based on departmental needs; patient ratio 1:5

Highlights:
  • Mixed acuity unit caring for both Progressive Care (PCU) and Medical Surgical patients
  • Oncology focus with patient diagnoses including head and neck cancers, neuro-oncology, and brain tumors
  • Oncology experience preferred but not required
  • Epic EMR system in use facility-wide
  • 72-hour comprehensive orientation provided
  • Interdisciplinary support including Pharmacy, Respiratory Services, Physical Therapy, Rapid Response Teams, and more
Requirements:
  • Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
  • Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience required; must be current and consistent within the last 12 months in the specialty
  • Epic charting system experience required
  • BLS certification required; ACLS, NIHSS, and OCN certifications preferred
  • Skills: IV starts, telemetry monitoring, tracheostomy care and management (including suctioning and inner cannula changes), drain management (JP, Hemovacs), BiPAP/CPAP management, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, chemotherapy administration preferred
  • Previous travel nursing experience preferred
  • Willingness to float to other units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed
  • Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
  • Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
  • Two professional references required: at least one from a manager, director, or formal supervisor; Charge RN acceptable for second reference
