Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 36 hours per week, 4:1 patient ratio. Weekend coverage required (4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule). Float within organization required. 36-hour orientation provided.

  • Two pre-approved time-off periods available during assignment
  • Contract length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

  • Current RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
  • Minimum 1 year of progressive care or stepdown nursing experience
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Nursing degree from ACEN or CCNE accredited program
  • Skills required: dysrhythmia interpretation and management, isolation precautions/PPE, MS/Tele, oxygen administration, peripheral line care, rapid response/code team protocols
  • Two professional references required (at least one from a manager, director, or formal supervisor)
  • Ability to float to different units within the organization as needed
  • Ohio fingerprinting must be completed promptly upon contract signing
  • Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
