• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 - $2,010

Registered Nurse Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of recent permanent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry, Medical-Surgical nursing, or a closely related acute care specialty
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Willing to obtain NIHSS before start
• One recent reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the same specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition testing and safeMedicate during orientation
• Must meet all pre-start compliance requirements, including required screenings, documentation, and onboarding modules
• Ability to work a day-shift schedule and maintain strong attendance and reliability
• COVID-19 and flu vaccination requirements apply per policy

Med/Surg Telemetry Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care to medical-surgical telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, recognize changes promptly, and escalate concerns as needed
• Administer medications, complete assessments, and document patient care accurately
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary care team to support positive patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, recovery, and discharge instructions
• Prioritize patient safety, infection prevention, and compliance with facility standards
• Adapt quickly in a busy acute care unit while maintaining excellent clinical judgment
