Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• ACLS and BLS certification required
• Epic experience within the last 12 months required
• Accredited nursing degree from an ACEN- or CCNE-approved program
• Phlebotomy experience within the last 12 months required
• Must be willing to float as needed
• Solid black scrubs required
• Charge nurse experience is preferred, with willingness to train if needed

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care for adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor telemetry rhythms, assess patient status, and respond to changes in condition
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support admissions, transfers, and patient flow
• Float as needed to support unit and facility needs
• Perform phlebotomy and other bedside nursing tasks as assigned
• Support charge nurse functions when applicable, including assignments, break coordination, and unit support
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold high standards of patient care
