Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of combined experience in Med/Surg Telemetry, telemetry nursing, or a closely related acute care specialty
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification preferred/required per unit expectations
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty within the past 12 months
• Ability to complete required onboarding assessments during orientation
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and reliability for night-shift travel nurse work

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, assess patient status, and recognize changes in condition promptly
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to care plans and clinical protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to support timely, patient-centered outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate clearly with patients and families
• Support a positive, organized unit environment and contribute to smooth night-shift operations
