Job Details

• Position: Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse
• Location: Canton, Ohio
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 3 x 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 - $2,010

• Orientation: Includes ECG rhythm recognition testing and safeMedicate assessment

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele or telemetry nursing
• Active Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required
• NIHSS required prior to start
• Epic experience required
• One recent reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty
• Ability to work every other holiday
• Assessments completed during orientation with passing scores required
• Required vaccinations and compliance items must be met prior to start

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support patient care plans
• Complete timely and accurate documentation in Epic
• Support patient education, discharge planning, and continuity of care
• Maintain a professional, flexible approach in a fast-paced clinical environment
