Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Albany, Georgia.

Required Certifications

  • BLS (AHA)
  • NIHSS

Shift Details

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM.

Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Unit Information

  • Number of Beds: 44
  • Staff: 40
  • Patient Ratios: 1:5, possibly 1:6 for both days and nights
  • EMR: Meditech (experience preferred but not required)
  • Nurse Aides: Yes, CNAs 1:8, generally 1:10, do assist as sitters
  • Shifts: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM, all 12 hours
  • Holidays: As needed
  • Scrub Color: Caribbean Blue
  • Floating: Required to all acute care and cardiac units to care for medical patients or emergency cases

Orientation

  • General Orientation: 1 week (includes EMR training)
  • Floor Specific Orientation: 2 days
