Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, night shift. Minimum every-other-weekend required. Contract extends through January 2, 2027.
Highlights:
- Float to multiple ICU settings based on staffing needs and patient acuity, including Neuro ICU, Medical ICUs, Surgical ICUs, CVICU, and Cardiology/Diagnostics
- Work with a comprehensive interdisciplinary team including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, Rapid Response Teams, and more
- Epic charting system in use facility-wide
- Float within units of equivalent or lower acuity per facility policy
- Care for adult patient populations with complex diagnoses including transplant patients (kidney, liver, lung, heart)
- Comprehensive orientation and support provided
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred
- Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (required)
- Epic charting system proficiency required
- Must be competent in IV starts, telemetry, and ventilator management
- Nursing degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
- Two professional references required (at least one from a manager, director, or charge nurse)
- Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
