    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a 34-bed Emergency Department at a Level 2 Trauma Center
    • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across varying acuity levels
    • Participate in weekend and holiday rotation as scheduled
    • Maintain compliance with unit policies, including a strict call-in policy and minimal requested time off during the assignment
    • Document patient care accurately using the facility's electronic medical records system
    Required Qualifications
    • Current Kansas RN license or multistate compact license in good standing — no disciplinary actions on license or background
    • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required — must be issued through the American Heart Association (AHA)
    • TNCC, NIHSS, and MOAB or CPI certification required
    • Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room RN experience; prior travel nursing experience required
    • All certifications and licensure must be current and verifiable at time of submission
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • 4 or more years of Emergency Room RN experience strongly preferred
    • Experience with Epic EMR
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently and hit the ground running in a fast-paced trauma environment
