Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Kansas

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Topeka, Kansas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 36 hours per week with shift start times at either 7:00 AM or 11:00 AM. Weekend rotation and holiday rotation required. Contract length available for 13 or 14 weeks based on candidate preference.

Highlights

• Work in a 34-bed Emergency Department at a Level II Trauma Center
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• 13 or 14-week contract available with flexible shift start time options
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week with no on-call or call-back requirements
• Candidates with MOAB or CPI certification at time of submission will be offered enhanced compensation
• Time-off requests accommodated with advance notice (maximum 5 days during assignment)

Requirements

• Current Kansas RN license or valid multistate compact license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (must be through American Heart Association)
• TNCC and NIHSS certifications required
• MOAB or CPI certification preferred for enhanced compensation rate
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required; 4 years preferred
• Strong clinical skills and ability to function independently from day one
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Clear license and background check required
