    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a 34-bed Emergency Department at a Level 2 Trauma Center
    • Deliver high-acuity emergency nursing care with the ability to hit the ground running from day one
    • Participate in weekend and holiday rotation as scheduled
    • Adhere to a 3-strike call-in policy and maintain requested time off to a maximum of 5 days for the duration of the assignment, with no more than one holiday request
    • Document patient care accurately using the facility's electronic medical records system
    Required Qualifications
    • Current Kansas RN license or a valid multistate (Compact) RN license in good standing — no hits on license or background accepted
    • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required — must be issued through the American Heart Association (AHA)
    • TNCC and NIHSS certifications required
    • MOAB or CPI certification required
    • Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room RN experience; 4 years strongly preferred
    • Prior travel nursing experience required — first-time travelers will not be considered
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • 4 or more years of Emergency Room nursing experience
    • Experience with Epic EMR
    • Demonstrated ability to function independently in a high-acuity, fast-paced emergency environment
