Contract | Nights | Alternating 36/48-hour weeks (3x12 or 4x12 shifts) | 19:00–07:00 | 12 weekend shifts (Saturday or Sunday) expected per contract
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting during night shift hours
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with a wide range of emergent and urgent conditions
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver safe, effective patient care
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record
- Maintain ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC compliance throughout the duration of the assignment
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Texas or a compact state
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the Emergency Room specialty
- ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications required
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Resume required with submission
- Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at time of profile submission
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Cerner electronic health record system
- Comfort working alternating 36- and 48-hour schedule weeks in a high-volume emergency environment
- Prior travel nursing experience with demonstrated compliance and reliability
