Description:
The Emergency Room Registered Nurse will work an alternating schedule.
Weekend shifts (Saturday or Sunday) are required per contract.
ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications are required.
The patient age groups include neonates, infants, children, adults, and geriatrics.
Daily census in the unit is approximately 165.
The number of beds in the unit is 42.
Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services.
Must have experience with a charting system (Cerner preferred).
Must be able to manage the care of various conditions including trauma, respiratory issues, and psychiatric emergencies.
Responsibilities include working in a fast-paced environment, providing direct patient care, and collaborating with healthcare teams.
