    Job Title

    RN (Registered Nurse) – Emergency Room

    Location

    Albany, GA | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Mid Shift | Every other weekend and every other holiday required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a high-volume emergency department seeing approximately 180–200 visits per day, serving a patient population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics
    • Manage a patient ratio of 1:4, performing own lab draws and IV starts
    • Care for a diverse case mix including trauma, orthopedic, CVA, and neurological patients; facility serves as a CVA center
    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including ED physicians, NPs/PAs, nurse aides, paramedics, 24/7 respiratory therapy, and on-campus pharmacy
    • Support patients requiring behavioral health intervention within a dedicated 6-bed locked behavioral unit staffed by psychiatry
    • Document accurately using Meditech 6.15 EMR; orientation is expected to be completed within the first week and cannot roll over unless approved by leadership prior to start date
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN license
    • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ACLS or NIHSS, and CPI
    • Meditech EMR experience required (version 6.15)
    • Minimum 5 years of RN experience with at least 1 prior travel assignment
    • Must adhere to facility callout process; compliance with attendance expectations is strictly enforced for agency staff
    • Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience in a high-volume emergency department with trauma, neuro, and CVA patient populations
    • Familiarity working alongside respiratory therapy teams and central monitoring/telemetry techs
    • Prior travel nursing experience beyond the minimum one assignment
