    Job Title

    RN (Registered Nurse) – Emergency Room

    Location

    Albany, GA | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Nights | Every other weekend and every other holiday required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a high-volume emergency department seeing approximately 180–200 visits per day, serving a patient population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics
    • Manage a patient assignment at a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio, performing own lab draws and IV starts
    • Care for a diverse case mix including trauma, CVA, orthopedic, and neurological presentations; facility serves as a CVA center
    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including ED physicians, NP/PA providers, nurse aides, paramedics, respiratory therapists, pharmacy, and central monitoring techs
    • Support patients on ventilators held in the ER until admission, working alongside 24/7 dedicated respiratory therapy staff
    • Complete facility orientation during week one of assignment; orientation may not roll over to the following week without prior leadership approval
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN license with a minimum of 5 years of emergency room experience
    • At least one prior travel nursing assignment required
    • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ACLS or NIHSS, and CPI
    • Meditech 6.15 EMR experience required
    • Must adhere to the facility dress code: Caribbean Blue scrubs only
    • Must live at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience working in high-volume emergency departments with trauma and behavioral health populations
    • Familiarity with caring for ventilated patients in an ED holding environment
    • Prior experience working alongside paramedics and mid-level providers in an emergency setting
