    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a high-volume emergency department seeing approximately 180–200 visits per day, serving a patient population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics
    • Manage a patient assignment at a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio, performing independent lab draws and IV starts
    • Care for a diverse case mix including trauma, CVA, orthopedic, and neurological presentations; support transfer coordination for cases requiring higher-level care
    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including ED physicians, APPs, nurse aides, paramedics, respiratory therapists, and pharmacy staff
    • Utilize Meditech 6.15 EMR for all documentation and patient care activities
    • Adhere to facility dress code (Caribbean Blue scrubs) and complete floor-specific orientation within the first week as scheduled
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN license with a minimum of 5 years of emergency room nursing experience
    • At least one prior travel nursing assignment required
    • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ACLS or NIHSS, and CPI
    • Proficiency with Meditech EMR (version 6.15 preferred)
    • Ability to work every other weekend and every other holiday
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience working in a high-acuity emergency department with trauma, stroke, or behavioral health patient populations
    • Familiarity with ventilator management in an ED setting and collaboration with dedicated respiratory therapy staff
    • Prior charge nurse experience in an emergency department setting
