Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse in a regional hospital located in the NW suburban Boston area. This position involves providing urgent care in a fast-paced environment, including performing assessments, administering medications and treatments, observing patient progress, and evaluating therapies for clinical outcomes and effectiveness. The role requires working nights every other weekend and holidays, with shifts lasting 12 hours.

Job Details:

  • Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Must have an active Massachusetts license; BLS and ACLS certifications are required; Epic electronic medical record experience needed; candidates must be separated from the organization for at least 6 months to be considered
  • Preferred Qualifications: BSN degree preferred; associates degree considered
  • Additional Information: BILH coversheet required at time of submission. The facility is a 183-bed regional hospital designated as a Magnet hospital, recognized as a top Massachusetts healthcare provider. The nurse must be capable of completing patient assessments, administering medications and treatments, observing patient progress, and evaluating therapies for clinical outcomes and effectiveness.
