Emergency Room Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Emergency Room Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess the skills and experience necessary to provide high-quality patient care in an emergency setting.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and triage patients in the emergency room.
  • Administer medications and treatments as per protocols.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Monitor patient conditions and provide updates to healthcare providers.
  • Educate patients and families about health conditions and post-discharge care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Qualifications

  • Active Massachusetts RN license or temporary license.
  • A minimum of 2 years of emergency room experience is required.
  • Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BCLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Note: Candidates applying for this position must not have worked permanently, as a traveler, or per diem within any facilities in the region in the past six months.
