Emergency Department Staff (RN)

Unit Description

This position involves rotating shifts between day and night, with a commitment of 4 weeks per rotation, or the option for straight night shifts. Nurses will work 3 shifts of 12 hours every other week and every other holiday is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation.

Qualifications

• Current RN license and certification in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Previous experience in an emergency department setting is preferred.
