Job Details:
• Work 12-hour day/PM rotation shifts with shift times of 0500-1700, 0900-2100, 1000-2200, and 1100-2300; PM shifts start at 11:00 AM or 2:00 PM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• May be required to float to other locations including Merrill, Antigo, Medford, and Stanley
• On-call possibility but rarely required and would be communicated in advance
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; Trauma Level I or II experience required if no prior travel experience
• Prior travel experience preferred
• Trauma Level II experience required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Work in an 18-bed, fast-paced emergency department treating cardiac, neuro, pediatric, geriatric, respiratory, and stroke patients with 3-4 patients per nurse
• Responsibilities include drawing labs, performing nebulizer treatments, and utilizing Pyxis medication dispenser
• X-ray staff on site in the ED and lab services available in-house
• Strong work ethic, resilience, ability to manage change, and ability to complete tasks independently and timely required
• Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS (ARC or AHA)
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Any color scrubs permitted

This healthcare facility is home to a Trauma Level II emergency department featuring an 18-bed unit that is stroke certified and equipped to handle a wide range of conditions including cardiac, neurological, pediatric, geriatric, and respiratory cases. The facility operates a fast-paced environment supported by in-house lab services, on-site radiology staff, and respiratory therapy, ensuring comprehensive care for all patients. The organization is committed to maintaining high standards of patient care through the use of advanced technology including EPIC charting and Pyxis medication dispensing systems.
