Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Wausau, Wisconsin.

Job Details:
• 13-week contract with guaranteed 36 hours per week
• 12-hour day shifts with variable start times: 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM, or 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• May be required to float to other locations including Merrill, Antigo, Medford, and Stanley
• Possibility of on-call shifts, asked in advance but rarely occurs
• Work in a fast-paced Trauma Level II, 18-bed emergency department with stroke certification
• Care for a diverse patient population including cardiac, neuro, pediatric, geriatric, and respiratory cases
• Maintain a patient ratio of 3-4 patients per nurse
• Perform lab draws, nebulizer treatments, and utilize Pyxis medication dispensers
• Chart using EPIC electronic health records system - required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; Trauma Level I or II experience required for those without prior travel experience
• Prior travel experience preferred
• Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS (ARC or AHA)
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Scrub colors: Any color accepted

This healthcare facility is a Trauma Level II hospital featuring an 18-bed emergency department that is stroke certified and equipped to handle a wide range of medical cases including cardiac, neurological, pediatric, geriatric, and respiratory conditions. The facility utilizes EPIC electronic charting and Pyxis medication dispensing systems, and maintains on-site laboratory, radiology, and respiratory therapy services to support comprehensive emergency care.
