Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU OH) RN position is available in San Antonio, TX. This role involves providing advanced patient care within a specialized cardiovascular intensive care setting, supporting high-acuity patients with critical needs on a rotating schedule.
Job Details
- Location: San Antonio, TX
- Shift Time: Days (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
- Shift Hours: 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Position Type: RN - ICU Cardiovascular
- Assignment Length: 13 or 26 weeks, with the possibility of extension
- Certifications & Education: Active Texas RN license, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, 2 years or more ICU experience, and specialized skills including hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, and critical thinking skills.
- Preferred Qualifications: Exposure to IABP, CRRT, Meditech charting/order entry, and additional certifications.
- Responsibilities include managing patients post-CABG, VAD, heart caths with support devices such as IABP, Impella, ECMO.
- Unit Specifics: Meditech documentation system, no float restrictions besides policies, professional attire required (navy scrubs, neat hair, no visible piercings other than ears).

- Additional Requirements: Float rotation may be required.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must submit valid certifications and licensing documentation prior to assignment.
