Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in a healthcare facility located in San Antonio, Texas. The role involves providing specialized critical care to patients within a hospital ICU setting, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes and adherence to clinical standards. The assignment spans approximately three months, starting on October 5, 2026, and concluding on January 4, 2027.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. or from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with rotating weekends.
  • Required Qualifications: Active Texas Registered Nurse license; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification; BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; at least 2 or more years of ICU experience; NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Meditech electronic documentation system; additional specialty or advanced certifications are advantageous.
  • Additional Information: The ICU unit consists of 14 beds with a patient ratio of 1:2, and standard equipment and documentation systems are utilized. Candidates must be able to float as needed to other units within the hospital and adhere to the facility's policies on attendance, attire, and professionalism. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented approach are essential.
