Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN requiring a WI or compact RN license and two years of recent acute care experience.

Details

• Med/Surg Tele unit within a hospital setting
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Day/evening shift, 12-hour shifts, 0700-1930
• Weekend and holiday rotations based on operational need
• Floating required as needed
• Epic charting system experience required

Requirements

• Active WI RN license or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required (AHA only)
• Minimum two years of acute care experience within the last three years required in Med/Surg specialty
• Must pass a telemetry exam with strict criteria prior to starting, including adult and pediatric rhythm identification
• Skills in gastrointestinal, IV therapy, cardiac monitoring, wound care, and respiratory care preferred or required as noted
• Community hospital experience preferred

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care on a Med/Surg Tele unit including monitoring, medication administration, and wound care

• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility as local candidates are not accepted
• Candidates with 3 years of Med/Surg experience may be considered even without prior travel experience
