Job Summary
Medical Surgical (MS) Nurse, Sioux City This facility is seeking a dedicated Medical Surgical nurse to join their team for a short-term assignment. The role involves providing high-quality patient care within a multidisciplinary team environment, focusing on adult inpatient care on the medical-surgical floor.
Job Details
- Certification, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Active Iowa state license, BLS certification (AHA preferred), at least 2 years of Med Surg experience, 1 supervisor reference completed within the last two years, and work history that demonstrates experience in Medical Surgical nursing. Candidate must reside at least 50 miles from the facility, with a minimum of 2 years of Med Surg experience and Epic experience required, Heparin drip experience preferred.
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The assignment begins on 10/26/2026 and ends on 01/25/2027. The candidate must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Years Day). Candidates may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
- Submission requirements: Must have specific work history and skills checklist related to Medical Surgical nursing.
