Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift position at a high-acuity, Level 1 trauma center requiring at least 2 years of specialty experience.

Details

• Medical/Surgical unit (12B Medical) in a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
• 13-week assignment
• No on-call requirements
• Expected to work 4 weekend shifts per month
• Block scheduling generally not approved
• Uses EPIC EMR

Requirements

• Active RN license (GA state or Compact) required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Med/Surg specialty
• Experience in high-pressure, high-volume trauma environments required
• Experience managing critical, fast-paced situations required
• Background in large, high-volume hospitals with diverse and severe cases required
• Candidates with experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals will not be considered
• Current certification card required for consideration
• EPIC EMR experience required

• Manages patients across a variety of common diagnoses
• Handles isolation precautions including COVID, Monkeypox, and others
• No RTO permitted during assignment
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel candidates
