Description

American Traveler is hiring an ED Boarder RN for a night shift assignment requiring 2+ years of RN experience and an active MA RN license.

Details

• Work in the ED PCS Boarder Program, caring for boarded patients within the Emergency Department
• Patients are cared for in hallways as well as bays, requiring frequent movement between care areas for medications and supplies
• Fast-paced environment with high activity and quicker turnover than a typical inpatient unit
• 13-week assignment on night shift, 19:00-07:30
• 36 hours per week with every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required; no conditional or pending licenses accepted
• BLS certification required (AHA only)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
• Primary source verification of license required within 30 days of start, updated upon expiration (NURSYS and BON required)
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care to ED boarder patients across multiple care areas within the department
• Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for the standard travel rate; candidates within that radius will receive a reduced rate
• RTO must be identified at the time of consideration
• Timekeeping is managed through UKG/Kronos
