    Job Title

    ICU Registered Nurse (MICU) – Nights

    Location

    Salem, MA

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift | 36 Hours per Week | Every Other Weekend Required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a 20-bed Medical/Surgical ICU at a Level III Trauma Center, managing a diverse adult patient population including diagnoses such as sepsis, respiratory failure, DKA, GI bleed, cardiogenic shock, cardiac arrest, renal failure, and substance abuse/overdose
    • Maintain an RN-to-patient ratio of 1:2 or 1:1 for high-acuity ICU patients
    • Float to Medical/Surgical units as needed, managing up to 4–5 patients with telemetry competency
    • Accurately read and interpret telemetry strips
    • Document patient care and clinical assessments using the EPIC electronic medical records system
    • Collaborate with attending physicians and residents who are present in the ICU 24 hours per day
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • Minimum of 2 years of continuous adult MICU experience
    • American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification
    • American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS certification
    • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret telemetry strips
    • Willingness and ability to float to Medical/Surgical units as required
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience in a community hospital or complex care facility setting
    • Proficiency with EPIC EMR
    • Experience managing high-acuity diagnoses including cardiogenic shock, respiratory failure, and cardiac arrest
