Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry float pool position requiring a MA RN license and strong telemetry experience.

Details

  • Nursing Float Pool position within a hospital setting, floating across multiple units
  • Medical-Surgical Telemetry patient population
  • 12-hour rotating shifts (Days/Nights), 08:00 AM - 08:30 PM, 36 hours per week
  • 8-week assignment length
  • Weekly orientations provided for float pool staff
  • Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

  • Active MA RN license required in hand
  • Minimum 2+ years of Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required
  • Strong telemetry experience required, as candidate will float across multiple units
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Must pass Tele/ECG and Medication competency testing
  • Required vaccinations: COVID vaccine + booster, Flu (medical exemptions allowed)

Additional Information

  • Float pool role requiring flexibility to work across multiple units
  • No more than three days of RTO will be approved, and no holiday RTO will be approved
  • All RTO requests must be presented at time of consideration
  • Previous BILH employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must take a 6-month break between assignments at any BILH facility before returning
  • Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius; local candidates are not accepted
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
