Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg Telemetry RN for a hospital float pool position requiring strong telemetry skills and an active MA RN license.

Details

• Hospital-based Nursing Float Pool position, floating across multiple units
• Medical-Surgical Telemetry patient population
• 12-hour rotating shifts (Day/Night), 36 hours per week
• 8-week assignment length
• Weekly orientations provided
• Epic EMR used

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required in hand
• 2+ years of Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required
• Strong telemetry experience required due to float pool utilization across units
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must pass Tele/ECG and Medication competency testing
• Required vaccines: COVID vaccine plus booster and Flu vaccine (medical exemptions allowed)

Additional Information

• Float pool role requiring flexibility across multiple nursing units
• Maximum of three days RTO allowed, with no holiday RTO approved
• All RTO requests must be presented at time of consideration
• Candidates must reside within 50 miles of the facility, and local candidates are not accepted
• Previous BILH employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a 6-month break before returning to any BILH facility
