Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care nursing experience preferred
• BLS/CPR certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation and telemetry monitoring skills
• Experience with respiratory support, advanced airways, and oxygen management
• Ability to manage cardiac drips with confidence
• Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication and clinical judgement
• Experience with Meditech or similar EMR systems is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for telemetry patients in a high-acuity hospital setting
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Support patients undergoing stress tests, heart caths, CABG care, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and chest tube management
• Collaborate closely with charge nurses, patient care technicians (PCTs), and unit clerks to maintain efficient patient flow
• Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care while maintaining accurate clinical documentation
• Float as needed to related med-surg and ED holding areas within the same level of care
• Contribute to a positive, team-focused environment that supports excellent patient outcomes
