Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, ICU – Tyler, TX 75701

Start Date: October 6, 2026

Location: Tyler, Texas

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00), with 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period. Patient ratio of 1:2. Float required based on schedule.

Highlights:

• Medical-Surgical ICU with 16 beds and a daily census of 14 patients
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and phlebotomy
• Work with advanced equipment including CRRT (NXXT Stage) and manage complex critical care patients
• Epic charting system with 36 hours of orientation provided
• 91-day assignment with one pre-approved time off period available
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations with diverse critical care diagnoses

Requirements:

• Active RN license (state or compact license required at time of submittal)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Experience with 1:2 patient ratios and Epic charting system required
• Charge nurse experience, community hospital, LTAC, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
• Proficiency in critical care skills including ventilator management, arterial line management, vasoactive drip titration, and blood product administration
• Must complete core compliance items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing
