• Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,830-$1,930
• Patient Population: Pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Charting System: Epic preferred

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent ER Nurse or Emergency Department experience required
• Previous experience in MS/Tele or observation nursing is preferred
• Valid compact or Ohio RN license in hand at time of submission
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS
• Graduation from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program
• Ability to provide 2 professional references, including at least 1 manager, director, or supervisor reference
• Strong communication skills and comfort working in a dynamic, team-based clinical environment

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care in an ED observation and holding environment
• Assess, monitor, and respond to changes in patient condition across a broad age range
• Support patients requiring telemetry, oxygen therapy, IV management, and other observation-level interventions
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and promote safe, efficient patient flow
• Prioritize care for patients with diverse diagnoses and varying levels of acuity
• Assist with procedures and clinical interventions as needed within RN scope of practice
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a busy and rewarding Columbus healthcare setting
