Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in hand at the time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience required
• At least 1 year of travel nursing experience required
• Current hands-on acute care experience in the specialty required
• Epic charting experience required
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required
• Experience with a 1:4 patient ratio preferred
• Ability to work night shifts and float as needed
• Professional references required at submission

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality emergency nursing care in a fast-paced ED environment
• Care for adolescent, adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients
• Support oncology patients presenting with urgent and complex medical needs
• Perform triage and prioritize care in a high-acuity setting
• Start and maintain IVs, administer emergency medications, and support telemetry monitoring
• Assist with BiPAP/CPAP management, ventilated patient care, and blood product administration
• Interpret dysrhythmias and obtain 12-lead EKGs/ECGs
• Support stroke, STEMI, and trauma protocols as appropriate
• Maintain infection control practices and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Provide compassionate, efficient patient care while adapting to changing clinical needs
