Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Telemetry position requiring a NC or compact license and 2 years of relevant experience.

Details

• Cardiac Telemetry unit within a Rapid Response setting
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 18:45 to 07:15

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• 2 years of relevant RN experience required
• Two manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months highly preferred at submission, required at start

Additional Information

• Weekly orientation schedule
• Pre-start and annual completion of required learning modules (8-10 hours for acute care roles)
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Previous PERM/PRN/EP staff of Novant Health or New Hanover must wait 12 months before applying as a traveler, subject to facility rehire approval
• RTO of 7 days or less can be auto-approved if it does not fall on a holiday, with no RTO permitted during the first week of assignment
• Travel pairs allowed as long as each has their own transportation and is comfortable with differing schedules
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate within 50 miles of the facility
