Description

American Traveler is hiring a night-shift RN for a 30-bed Acute Care Cardiac Telemetry Unit, requiring TX or compact RN license and at least 1 year of cardiac telemetry experience.

Details

• Work in a 30-bed Acute Care Cardiac Telemetry Unit
• Care for patients with chest pain, congestive heart failure, advanced heart failure, and syncope
• Unit performs echocardiograms, stress tests, and diagnostic/interventional heart catheterization
• Handles specialized cardiac procedures including Mitraclip, Watchman, Tykosyn initiation, and TAVR
• Unit may overflow to general med/surg or other non-cardiac patients as needed
• Night shift schedule from 18:45 to 07:15
• 13-week assignment length
• Priority floating to Med/Surg required if needed

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• BLS certification through AHA required
• ACLS certification through AHA required
• Minimum 1 year of relevant nursing experience required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Cardiac-trained RN experience strongly preferred
