Overview
This position provides Technical Project Management for the Strategic Weapons System (SWS) for COLUMBIA class construction, test, and integration of SWS/SWSS equipment in Groton, CT.This position is an alternate work week position where the successful candidate must serve full time on both Saturdays and Sundays.
Responsibilities include:
- Turn over with weekday leads and management to support weekend SWS Continuity of operations.
- Provide technical supporttooptimizeexcitabilityof construction and testby ensuring proper SWS/SWSS installation, design, and test requirements are met.
- Ensure Construction and Test Readiness in all areas of GDEB to include but not limited to operations, planning, program office, and engineering personnel.
- Align andexpediteSWS/SWSS problem resolutions to support ship certification and reduce schedule impact of installation and test activities.
- Interface with internal and external senior leadershipregardingscheduling and performance of work in areas assigned.
- Identifyarea of construction, installation, and test for continuous improvement initiatives.
- Build,Maintain, and refine SWS/SWSS and other projects schedules to support companyobjectivesand key events.
- Coordinate SWS/SWSS installation and test efforts
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Required:
- 7 + years of submarine construction, test,operations, planning experience (or combination thereof)
- HS Diploma or GED
- Work travel will berequired
Preferred:
- 2+ years of supervisory/area superintendentexperience
- Associates degree or higher
- Ability to read system diagrams and similar engineering drawings
- Lean Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt)
- System engineering capabilities
- Working knowledge of existing EB policies and procedures for operations and planning
