Senior Litigation Paralegal | Downtown Austin

A respected, team-oriented law firm in downtown Austin is seeking a Senior Litigation Paralegal to join its growing litigation group. This is a high-impact role supporting complex defense matters, offering the opportunity to work closely with engaged attorneys in a collaborative and detail-driven environment.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $75K - $125K DOE
  • 401(k) with up to 6% match

  • PTO: 15 days (increasing to 20 days after 5 years)

Schedule & Flexibility

  • 37.5-hour workweek
  • Primarily in-office (downtown Austin)
  • Flexible start time (office opens at 7:30 AM)
  • 1 remote day/week available after ~6 months

What You'll Do

  • Manage litigation cases from inception through resolution, with trial readiness required
  • Conduct legal research and support case strategy
  • Handle document production and management using litigation support platforms
  • Prepare for depositions, hearings, and trial (including exhibits and case materials)
  • Draft and file pleadings in state and federal courts
  • Coordinate court procedures and deadlines across multiple matters
  • Collaborate with attorneys and team members to ensure accuracy and efficiency

What We're Looking For

  • Senior-level litigation paralegal experience within a law firm
  • Strong background in complex defense litigation (insurance defense, construction, or commercial litigation preferred)
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a track record of catching errors and following through
  • Ability to manage high-volume caseloads independently
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Technical Skills

  • Experience with tools such as iManage, Summation, Everlaw, Westlaw, LexisNexis, Orion, and Milana preferred
