    SENIOR ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

    LOCATION: Hanscom AFB MA

    JOB STATUS: Full-time; salaried

    CLEARANCE: Secret

    Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Administrative Assistant providing support to the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center-Ground Base Air Defense Sensor division (AFLCMC/ESG).

    The ESG Division manages efforts focused on developing, acquiring, fielding and sustaining programs that support worldwide communications, Battle Management, Command & Control, Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (C2ISR), Air/Ground Surveillance, Time Critical Targeting, Combat Identification, Radar Imagery, Integrated Air/Missile Defense, and Mobile/Fixed C2ISR Performance, Exploitation & Dissemination Facilities.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

    Minimum Required Qualifications:

    Citizenship:Must be a US citizen

    Clearance: Must be able to obtain an active Secret Security Clearance

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Education: Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 5 of which must be in the DoD OR,

    • 15 years of directly related experience, eight of which must be in the DoD.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

    Technical Skills:

    • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
    • SharePoint administration and document management
    • Calendar management and executive scheduling support
    • Meeting coordination and virtual collaboration platforms (Microsoft Teams, Zoom, WebEx)
    • Action item, suspense, and workflow tracking
    • Preparation of executive correspondence, reports, and briefing materials
    • Records management and file maintenance in accordance with DoD policies
    • Data collection, analysis, and administrative reporting
    • Experience supporting DoD acquisition or program management offices
    • Knowledge of Air Force organizational structures and administrative processes

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Duties include, but not limited to:

    • Provide comprehensive administrative support to PK leadership and contracting teams.
    • Manage daily taskers, suspense actions, action items, and organizational deliverables.
    • Maintain PK official records, contract closeout files, trackers, and documentation repositories.
    • Oversee personnel in‑/out‑processing and maintain office documentation, calendars, and scheduling.
    • Coordinate meetings, conferences, virtual sessions, and prepare agendas, minutes, and briefing materials.
    • Manage KTFileShare, SharePoint, Teams resources, permission access, and inspection readiness.
    • Support workflow management, office operations, and process improvement initiatives.
    • Prepare official correspondence, reports, and leadership documentation.
    • Disseminate program guidance, maintain leadership awareness of priorities, and respond to routine inquiries.
    • Assist with DTS travel coordination and serve as VRO/TCO telephone focal point.
    • Validate recurring reports and support ESGK training events and office activities.
