A bit about us:

This company is a Cambridge, MA-based owner's project management and development management firm serving corporate, life science, higher education, mission-critical, investor/developer, and not-for-profit clients throughout the Greater Boston area. For over a decade, our client has built a reputation for delivering complex, high-stakes real estate and construction projects on behalf of building owners, guiding everything from initial planning and design oversight through construction management and project closeout. The firm's project portfolio spans large-scale lab and office builds, corporate tenant fit-outs, student housing, and specialized recreational and mission-critical facilities, working alongside some of the region's most recognized institutional and corporate names.

Why join us?
  • Competitive base salary of $90,000-115,000 (contingent on experience)
  • Learn from experienced OPM professionals. You'll work directly alongside senior project managers and partners on live, high-visibility projects and not simply be sidelined on administrative work.
  • A firm clients keep coming back to. The vast majority of this company's business comes from repeat clients, a track record that reflects the quality of work you'd be contributing to from day one.
  • Real project exposure, early. Rather than being confined to a single sector, you'll get hands-on experience across life science labs, corporate interiors, higher education, and mission-critical facilities.
  • A genuine growth path. This is a company that promotes from within. Assistant Project Managers here are given increasing ownership as they develop, with a clear trajectory toward Project Manager and beyond.
  • Embedded, relationship-driven culture. You'll see firsthand how the firm builds trust with clients through active, hands-on partnership rather than working at arm's length.

Job Details
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in construction, real estate, architecture, engineering, or a related field; prior exposure to Owner's Project Management, construction management, or design is a plus but not required.
  • Basic understanding of the design and construction process, including scheduling, budgeting, and procurement/bidding fundamentals.
  • Strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple tasks and deadlines across concurrent projects.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the professionalism to interact with clients, architects, and contractors.
  • Proficiency with project management and scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Bluebeam) preferred.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving instincts and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Based in or willing to work primarily in the Greater Boston/Cambridge, MA area.
