Sales Territory Manager
Tampa & Sarasota, FL

Hybrid (1–2 Work from Home Days per Week)
We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Territory Manager to drive sales growth and market penetration throughout the Tampa and Sarasota region. This individual will be responsible for managing existing customer relationships while identifying and developing new business opportunities within the commercial construction and building products market.
The ideal candidate will have experience specifying commercial building products with architects, interior designers, contractors, and facility end users. This role requires strong relationship-building skills, business development expertise, presentation capabilities, and the ability to travel extensively throughout the territory. They must be comfortable traveling overnight 4-5 times per month and must be comfortable with long travel days locally 3-4 days per week. A bachelor's degree is required and an incumbent must live in the Sarasota or Tampa areas.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales Growth
  • Maximize sales performance within assigned territory
  • Develop and execute territory growth strategies
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities
  • Expand market penetration across multiple verticals
  • Achieve territory sales objectives and growth targets
Account Management
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with:
    • Architects
    • Interior Designers
    • Contractors
    • Facility Managers
    • End Users
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and product expert
  • Increase specification opportunities and project participation
Customer Engagement & Presentations
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations
  • Schedule and manage a minimum of 5 customer appointments per day
  • Educate customers on product applications and solutions
  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and conferences
Territory Management
  • Manage territory covering:
    • Naples
    • Fort Myers
    • Sarasota
    • St. Petersburg
    • Tampa
  • Travel within territory approximately 4 days per week
  • Overnight travel 4–5 times per month
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience specifying commercial building products
  • Outside sales experience
  • Strong business development experience
  • Excellent presentation and public speaking skills
  • Strong relationship-building abilities
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong computer proficiency
  • Self-motivated and highly organized
  • Must currently reside in:
    • Sarasota, FL area OR
    • Tampa, FL area
  • Comfortable with:
    • Frequent travel
    • Overnight travel
    • Territory-based sales activities
