The Sales Coordinator (Coordinador/a de Ventas) assists the Director of Sales and Sales Managers in performing a wide range of complex and confidential administrative duties to support your team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Serve as the first point of contact for guests and clients.
  • Answers phone efficiently and professionally.
  • Coordinates and organizes the sales office and supplies.
  • Ensures that all sales activities are logged in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Responsible for the coordination and implementation of new procedures and is supporting contact between hotel and program provider.
  • Creates and maintains client database in Delphi.
  • Prepares memorandums and assists with timely submission of contracts and proposals.
  • Orders office supplies and maintains an inventory of supplies and sales collateral.
  • Effectively utilizes office systems (Delphi, Microsoft Word, and Excel).
  • Participates in the safety program and is involved in keeping working area and property safe and productive.
  • Organize and implement administrative systems & procedures, and perform necessary support duties for the Sales team.
  • Performs additional duties and responsibilities as directed by the leadership team.
Qualifications

At least 1-2 years of relevant experience and/or training. A combination of experience, education, and/or training may be substituted for either requirement. Previous similar position in a hotel, or similar business entity preferred. Availability to work on weekends and holidays is required. Ability to maintain a friendly, team-oriented, positive attitude and a professional appearance at all times. Ability to stand, kneel, squat for prolonged periods of time, up to and including, the entire shift and lift up to 25 lbs. The following position will be filled in accordance with the process set forth in California Labor Code Section 2810.8 and San Diego Municipal Code 311.0101 et. seq.
