Sales Administrative Assistant

LHH Recruiting is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Sales Administrative Assistant to support the growth and management of existing and prospective customer accounts with our client in Phoenix, AZ. This role plays a key part in ensuring a seamless sales process-from initial quotation through order completion-while delivering excellent customer service and supporting sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Sales Managers to prepare quotations, establish customer accounts, and obtain pricing and contract approvals

  • Manage customer accounts from initial quote through order fulfillment and completion

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customer contacts by providing accurate product, pricing, and delivery information

  • Maintain working knowledge of the company's product portfolio and effectively match solutions to customer needs

  • Track and report monthly sales and activity metrics to leadership

  • Proactively communicate customer feedback, potential issues, and process bottlenecks to management

  • Support basic records management processes and documentation accuracy

  • Prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities to ensure efficient workflow

  • Represent the company professionally in all customer and internal interactions

  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role

  • At least 2 years of consistent work experience, including 1+ year in a customer service-related role

  • Experience with NetSuite ERP is a plus

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

  • Ability to read, interpret, and respond to detailed instructions and documentation

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively

  • High attention to detail and problem-solving ability

  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions)

  • Ability to work collaboratively and maintain positive working relationships

  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, changing environment

Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
