Sales Administrative Assistant
LHH Recruiting is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Sales Administrative Assistant to support the growth and management of existing and prospective customer accounts with our client in Phoenix, AZ. This role plays a key part in ensuring a seamless sales process-from initial quotation through order completion-while delivering excellent customer service and supporting sales initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with Sales Managers to prepare quotations, establish customer accounts, and obtain pricing and contract approvals
Manage customer accounts from initial quote through order fulfillment and completion
Build and maintain strong relationships with customer contacts by providing accurate product, pricing, and delivery information
Maintain working knowledge of the company's product portfolio and effectively match solutions to customer needs
Track and report monthly sales and activity metrics to leadership
Proactively communicate customer feedback, potential issues, and process bottlenecks to management
Support basic records management processes and documentation accuracy
Prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities to ensure efficient workflow
Represent the company professionally in all customer and internal interactions
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education & Experience
High school diploma or GED required
2+ years of experience in a similar role
At least 2 years of consistent work experience, including 1+ year in a customer service-related role
Experience with NetSuite ERP is a plus
Skills & Competencies
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Ability to read, interpret, and respond to detailed instructions and documentation
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
High attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions)
Ability to work collaboratively and maintain positive working relationships
Comfort working in a fast-paced, changing environment
Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
