Job Title: Recruiter
Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota
Type: 8 month Contract
Compensation: $42.00- 44.00/hr
Work Model: Hybrid – onsite and remote

Responsibilities
• Develop diverse talent pipelines based on anticipated needs and guidance from business leaders.
• Develop business acumen and create relationships with business areas and labor relations. Provide consultation that demonstrates knowledge of the business and understanding of the talent market.
• Accountable for full life cycle recruiting of entry- and mid-level bargaining/union postings. Effectively partner with stakeholders and utilize sourcing techniques. Clearly define and drive tactics and timeline for sourcing, service, assessment, and selection. Partner with team and stakeholders to ensure a seamless flow of service to the customer internal and external.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop best practices and foster idea generation to drive continuous improvement efforts. Assist in coordinating Xcel Energy TA programs, and other duties as assigned.

Requirements
• BS/BA degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field is highly preferred but not required
• 5+ years fully cycle recruiting experience required (highly preferred with bargaining/union hiring)
• Experience in partnering with Labor Relations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
• Willingness to learn and grow with agility
• Detail and process oriented
• Experience with recruitment programs and sourcing strategies (including local events and diversity recruitment) preferred
• Ability to travel occasionally and commute to events and company locations as needed.
