Located in the heart of Manhattan in a vibrant, fast-paced environment, they are looking for a Receptionist to become the friendly face and efficient voice of their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:
$23/hr - $26/hr

Position Overview:
As the Receptionist, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the smooth operation of the office. You will greet visitors with a warm and professional demeanor, manage daily administrative tasks, and ensure the workplace remains a welcoming environment for employees and clients alike.

Responsibilities of the Receptionist:
  • Serve as the first point of contact by welcoming guests, clients, and team members.
  • Manage incoming calls and correspondence, ensuring they are directed appropriately.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized front desk and reception area.
  • Assist with scheduling meetings and coordinating conference room usage.
  • Provide administrative support to various departments as needed.
  • Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary.
  • Support the coordination of company events and activities.
Required Experience/Skills for the Receptionist:
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Receptionist or in a front desk role is required.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • A friendly, professional attitude and a customer-focused approach.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Receptionist:
  • Experience supporting office operations in a professional services, agency, or corporate environment.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and experience managing competing priorities.
  • Experience coordinating meetings, events, or office logistics.
Education Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Additional certification in office administration or a related field is a plus.
