    Advancement & Donor Relations Assistant
    Part-Time | 20–25 Hours/Week | $20–$23/Hour DOE
    About the Opportunity
    Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and personable Advancement & Donor Relations Assistant to support its Advancement team and help cultivate relationships with donors. This is a flexible, part-time opportunity ideal for someone who enjoys a combination of administrative work, donor communication, data management, and relationship-building.

    The schedule is flexible within normal Monday–Friday business hours. The organization prefers a 3–4 day work week, with a commitment of approximately 20–25 hours per week.
    Responsibilities

    • Support Advancement team projects, initiatives, and special events.

    • Assist with stewardship efforts for select mid-level donors through personalized mail, email, phone calls, and ongoing communication.

    • Support the management of major donor caseloads and assist with donor visits.

    • Conduct donor research and maintain accurate donor records.

    • Enter and verify financial donations and donor information in Salesforce CRM.

    • Generate CRM reports to support fundraising and development efforts.

    • Research and resolve discrepancies or incomplete donor information.

    • Track donor contacts, activities, responses, and stewardship efforts in the database.

    • Serve as a primary contact for incoming phone calls and email requests from select mid-level donors.

    • Support multi-channel donor communications and initiatives designed to strengthen donor relationships.

    • Maintain contact with external financial institutions as needed to support donor transactions.

    • Assist with William Booth Society mailings and track related gifts.

    • Prepare project proposals, major gift collateral, and other development materials.

    • Compile and report monthly major gift production statistics.

    • Perform general office and administrative procedures.

    • Collaborate with the Director of Advancement and other Advancement leadership on short- and long-term donor strategies.

    • Assist with other Advancement projects and responsibilities as needed.
    Qualifications

    • High school diploma required; five years of relevant professional experience preferred.

    • Experience in fundraising, donor relations, development, customer service, administrative support, or a related field.

    • Experience with Salesforce or another fundraising/CRM database such as Raiser's Edge strongly preferred.

    • Strong Microsoft Office skills.

    • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.

    • Ability to research information, maintain accurate records, and resolve discrepancies.

    • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

    • Flexible and dependable with the ability to work Monday–Friday during normal business hours.

    • Must be able to complete required training upon hire.
